Job summary

XPO is seeking a Freight Operations Manager to lead the service center in Carlisle, PA. You’ll oversee daily freight operations, drive efficiency, and manage staffing, revenue, and cost controls to meet customer expectations.

The role requires at least 4 years of related experience, supervisory or management background, and knowledge of LTL. Hazmat, OSHA and DOT regs are highly relevant to this position. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• 4 years of related work experience
• Supervisory or management experience
• Experience in the less-than-truckload (LTL) industry
• Experience with hazardous materials regulations, OSHA and Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations
• Bachelor's degree, 4 years of related work experience or equivalent military experience

Responsibilities

• Handle the efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery service provided to our customers
• Guide the complete daily operations of the service center
• Oversee revenue, profit and cost controls
• Ensure proper staffing, utilization and management of personnel
• Mentor and manage all personnel working at the facility
