Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Freight Operations Manager in Winston-Salem to lead the daily service center operations, drive delivery efficiency, and manage revenue, profit and costs.

You will guide staffing and mentor personnel to ensure top performance and customer satisfaction. The role requires 4+ years of related experience, supervisory background, and solid knowledge of LTL logistics, plus familiarity with hazmat, OSHA and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• 4 years of related work experience required.
• Supervisory or management experience required.
• Experience in the less-than-truckload (LTL) industry.
• Experience with hazardous materials regulations, OSHA and DOT rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Handle the efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery service provided to our customers.
• Guide the complete daily operations of the service center.
• Oversee revenue, profit and cost controls.
• Ensure proper staffing, utilization and management of personnel.
• Mentor and manage all personnel working at the facility.
