Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to travel as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of LTL industry, DOT, OSHA, NMFC and tariff rules.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop employees to ensure retention and growth.
• Supervise daily work focusing on safety, quality, and customer delivery.
• Monitor safety, and address unsafe acts/conditions with corrective action.
• Plan manpower and schedules to ensure on-time freight delivery and pickup.
• Coordinate job assignments with staff and ensure clear direction.
• Monitor service freight and enforce cut time compliance.
• Drive cost reductions and efficiency improvements while maintaining safety.
