MODE Transportation is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Freight Operations Coordinator to support daily transportation operations and ensure exceptional service for our clients. You will coordinate freight movements, manage carrier relationships, resolve transportation challenges, and contribute to a fast-paced logistics team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in transportation, logistics, freight brokerage, or related field.
• Strong organizational skills with multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Customer-focused mindset with commitment to service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate freight shipments from pickup through final delivery.
• Monitor shipment progress and address issues or delays.
• Communicate shipment updates to customers across channels.
• Enter and manage transportation orders received via EDI, email, portals and phone.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations and Accounting teams to resolve issues.
