Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. in Lincoln, NE seeks a Freight Coordinator to support store operations by receiving shipments, shipping merchandise, and maintaining backroom and facilities. This role participates in Sales Generation, Guest Service, Visual Merchandising and general Operations while upholding Buckle’s standards.

Part-time position with Teammate Discount and benefits; training provided. Must be 18+, able to lift 50 lbs, and work flexible hours including peak shopping days.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Compare and verify merchandise invoices to items received to ensure shipments are correct.
• Send alterations, layaways, or special orders to Guests via FedEx.
• Check accuracy of freight packing slips and transfer slips.
• Double-check that all transfers have been processed through the register and that items match what you are shipping out.
• When shipping items to Guests and other stores, fold items and place in appropriate sized box for proper presentation.
• Remove pins and plastic from merchandise shipped in and place Sensormatic tags on garments.
• Hang and fold merchandise for the sales floor and steam when necessary.
• Assist on floor projects; maintain knowledge of POS software; receive freight boxes and store transfers.
• Keep supplies in stock; organize fixtures and shelving; maintain a neat, clean and organized work area.
• Organize daily work files and communicate policy violations or concerns to management.
