Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for tracking/reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Experience with freight coordination or transportation logistics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine and secure the most efficient and cost-effective shipping options for dry and bulk freight.
• Handle high-volume customer interactions via phone, email, and in-person.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to support the Fertilizer Program.
• Back up the Agronomics Department, assisting with product application and usage details.
• Address shipped quantity discrepancies and manage rebilling processes.
• Verify sales fees, service charges, and rebates before finalizing distributor payments.
• Provide back-up support to the Transportation Supervisor, including document prep and shipment scheduling.
• Calculate freight rates and assist with pricing using the Freight Equalization Program.
• File and process freight claims for lost or damaged shipments.
• Generate transportation-related reports (e.g., claims data, pickup point volumes).
