Job summary

The Pasha Group is seeking a Freight Coordinator in Tacoma, WA to support cargo movement and documentation across operations and partners. This role focuses on accurate work orders, timely communications, and precise record-keeping to ensure smooth transloading processes.

Responsibilities include handling bookings, preparing paperwork, and coordinating with customers and vendors. Strong Excel/Office skills and 1+ year relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (HSED) required.
• 1+ year warehouse, data entry, customer service, or related experience required.
• Freight operations, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
• Knowledge of freight transportation and warehouse operations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to develop effective professional relationships.
• Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Enter and prepare work orders with complete instructions for dispatch, operations, and vendors.
• Coordinate cargo movement based on export bookings and import documentation.
• Print and distribute required paperwork to operations prior to cargo arrival and relay volumes to dispatch and management.
• Provide timely updates to customers during the transloading process and finalize documents per cut-off times.
• Update account records, customer databases, and inventory logs.
• Respond to delays or issues affecting work order completion and resolve incidents.
• Notify customers of cargo issues and request handling instructions.
• Prepare billing for completed work orders and assist with invoice corrections.
• Coordinate inspections with government entities when required.
• Other duties as assigned.
