Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) seeks a Load Planner in Michigan to coordinate trucking operations and manage customer accounts. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of transportation experience, preferably as a dispatcher. Responsibilities include customer service, traffic management, and order accuracy.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in the transportation field; preferably as a dispatcher.
• Knowledge of transportation industry laws, safety regulations, and general Trucking basics.
• Bachelor’s degree related to transportation or business application preferred.
• Experience with TMW dispatch system & Omnitracs satellites is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the efforts to operate a portion of the trucking fleet.
• Handles customer inquiries, demands, and requirements.
• Manages designated customer accounts and coordinates traffic flows.
• Responsible for accuracy of electronic order entry and communication with drivers.
• Controls the preplanning of trucks/drivers.
