Penske Logistics is hiring a Load Planner in Beachwood, OH to coordinate freight movement and customer service. You'll plan shipments, load-build, tender freight to third-party carriers, and provide visibility to customers by tracking shipments and resolving issues.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma (Bachelor's preferred) and 1+ year in Transportation/Supply Chain, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Transportation/Supply Chain preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and sense of urgency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn and regularly operate various computer systems across platforms.

Responsabilités

• Load-building – add shipments to a load, rate, secure carrier coverage and set appointments.
• Provide excellent Customer Service to assigned accounts.
• Call Center and shared email box responsibilities.
• Track shipments and provide visibility to management and customers.
• Recover customer loads and maintain daily logs and trackers.
• Perform other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
