Job summary

Gordon Food Service Taunton Distribution Center is seeking a Freight Handler to support our warehouse operations. You will move pallets from trailers and break down product for proper pallet configuration, while ensuring pallets are stable and correctly labeled.

No prior warehouse experience is required as training will be provided. You must be 18 or older, able to work holidays and overtime, and able to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove pallets from trailers and break down products for correct pallet configuration.
• Separate inbound freight by item code onto good pallets.
• Ensure damaged product is accounted for and not received into inventory.
• Maintain pallet structural integrity during handling and storage.
