Gordon Food Service is hiring a Warehouse Freight Handler for 1st shift in Kenosha, WI. The role involves unloading trailers, breaking down product for pallet configuration, and organizing pallets. You must be 18+, able to work holidays and overtime, and withstand extreme temperatures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions (-25F to 100F).
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Willing to pass a drug test and background check.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove pallets from trailers and break down product for correct pallet configuration.
• Separate inbound freight by item code onto good pallets.
• Ensure damaged product is accounted for and not received into inventory.
• Maintain pallet structural integrity and organize warehouse space.
