Covenant Logistics is seeking a Gate Clerk to serve as the first and last point of contact for inbound and outbound loads at a customer facility. The role may involve a rotating shift and requires strong multitasking and data-recording skills.

The position emphasizes security checks, accurate record-keeping, and efficient processing of BOLs to support timely freight movement. Teamwork and clear communication are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• 2+ years of administrative experience is preferred.
• 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
• HighJump WMS experience is preferred but not required.
• Transportation or warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process inbound and outbound loads.
• Check in and maintain security with outside carriers.
• Perform yard audits as needed.
• Keep accurate records of all inbound and outbound trailers.
• Check seals and numbers on all inbound and outbound trailers.
• Manage gate and perimeter reporting tasks.
• Prioritize and process both inbound and outbound paperwork and BOLs (Bill of Lading).
• Assist in maintaining consistent flow of freight for timely outbound/inbound processing.
