Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven business development or sales experience in freight forwarding.
• Extensive knowledge of freight forwarding practices and documentation.
• Existing base of freight forwarding clients and network.
• Excellent consulting, selling, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
• Deep working knowledge of International and Domestic Air Freight, Domestic Ground, FCL/LCL Sea Freight, Customs Compliance and Brokerage, and Value-Added Logistics services.
• Demonstrated success negotiating rates and responding to RFQs/RFPs.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete sales cycle for freight forwarding and logistics solutions.
• Prospect, sell, and close accounts.
• Cultivate trust and long-term relationships with clients.
• Develop and execute strategic business development plans across International & Domestic transportation and value-added logistics.
