Job summary

World Market is opening a new Spokane Valley store and seeks an Assistant Manager: Freight Flow who will lead the team to drive sales and profitability while maintaining our customer-first selling culture and operational standards.

You will partner with the Store Manager to develop a high-performing team, implement freight flow processes, and uphold brand values. The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays; hourly pay is provided with benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years leadership in fast-paced specialty retail preferred.
• Strong communication and coaching skills with ability to de-escalate.
• Ability to plan and prioritize daily priorities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead freight flow processes and visual execution standards.
• Coordinate freight processing with Store Manager.
• Maintain loss prevention policies and inventory initiatives.
• Manage stockroom organization and standards.
• Analyze trends using available reports to identify opportunities.
• Foster World Market culture and values.
• Ensure a safe work environment with ongoing safety training.
• Plan daily tasks in the Store Manager's absence.
