Estes-Express-Lines is seeking a dock/AWB associate in Pennsylvania. You will load and unload freight using forklifts and manual equipment, strap and pad freight to prevent damage, and accurately record freight condition on arrival.

Pre/post shift inspections of dock equipment are required, along with reliable attendance and teamwork. The role involves lifting ~70 lbs, working various shifts including overtime and weekends, and complying with all policies.

Formación

• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Must be 17+ years old.
• Experience in transportation industry preferred.
• Stable employment history preferred.
• Prior forklift operation or certification preferred.
• Able to push/pull a loaded pallet jack with at least 70 lbs.
• Physical activities include standing, walking, lifting and twisting.
• Must be able to work all shifts, including overtime and weekends.
• Must lift approximately 70 lbs. or more as needed.
• Must follow company policies and procedures and interact well with others.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and meet tight deadlines.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Load and unload freight using forklift, pallet jack, hand truck or by hand.
• Strap, brace and pad freight to prevent damage or shifting.
• Record the condition of freight on arrival.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections of dock equipment.
• Maintain regular attendance as required.
