Estes-Express-Lines is seeking a dock associate to properly load and unload freight using forklift equipment and manual handling tools. You will strap, brace, and pad freight to prevent damage and record freight condition upon arrival at the service center.

The role requires eligibility to work in the United States, 17+ years of age, and the ability to lift about 70 lbs, with overtime and weekend shifts possible; pre-shift/post-shift inspections of dock equipment are required.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Must be 17+ years of age.
• Experience in the transportation industry preferred.
• Stable employment history preferred.
• Prior operation of a forklift or forklift certification preferred.
• Able to lift 70 lbs. or more.
• Physical activities include standing, walking, lifting, twisting, turning, etc.
• Ability to work all shifts, including overtime and weekends; dependable.
• Able to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Load and unload freight using a forklift, pallet jack, or hand truck.
• Securely strap and pad freight to prevent damage or shifting.
• Record freight condition upon arrival at the service center.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspection of dock equipment.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned as needed.
