Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 17+ years old.
• Experience in the transportation industry preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to lift approx. 70 lbs.
• Ability to read and comply with safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using a forklift, pallet jack, hand truck or by hand.
• Strap, brace and pad freight to prevent damage or shifting.
• Record the condition of freight as it arrives at the service center.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspection of dock equipment.
• Attend regularly and be flexible for overtime and weekend shifts.
