Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking reliable individuals to load and unload freight using forklifts and pallet jacks. You will perform equipment inspections, strap and pad freight, and ensure accurate recording of freight conditions.

The role requires physical strength to lift up to 70 lbs and the ability to work all shifts, including overtime and weekends. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a good employment history.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Stable employment history preferred.
• Prior forklift operation or certification is a plus.
• Must comply with safety rules and company policies.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Inspect dock equipment before and after shifts.
• Record freight condition upon arrival.
• Strap, brace, and pad freight to prevent damage.
• Work in a high-volume environment under tight deadlines.
