Freight Dispatcher

TLP Trucking is a growing company that has been serving customers for nearly 10 years. We specialize in hauling livestock feed within a 400‑mile radius of Lebanon, Missouri, and we’re looking for a motivated, experienced Freight Dispatcher to join our team in an in‑office position.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily freight movements
• Communicate with drivers and customers
• Schedule truck and trailer maintenance
• Coordinate roadside repairs and breakdown assistance
• Recruit and onboard new drivers
• Move trucks and trailers as needed
• Arrange outside carriers for loads we cannot cover with our own fleet
• Process and invoice brokered loads
• Help keep operations running efficiently and on schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior trucking industry experience required
• Former CDL
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and solve problems under pressure
• Experience with dispatching, logistics, or fleet management is a plus
