Job summary

Procter & Gamble in San Jose is seeking a Freight Audit and Payments Analyst to ensure accurate freight expenses, audit invoices, process payments, and drive cost savings across the LA region.

You will collaborate with carriers and internal teams, analyze spend data, support system improvements, and present KPIs and savings initiatives to management. Strong communication and Excel skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, finance, accounting, or related field.
• Strong communication, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; English and Portuguese level - Basic/Intermediate.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed audits of freight invoices against contractual rates, shipping documents, and internal systems.
• Process freight payments accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring policy compliance.
• Collaborate with carriers, logistics partners, and internal teams to resolve invoice issues and negotiate adjustments.
• Analyze freight spend data to identify trends and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Support implementation and maintenance of freight audit and payment systems and report inefficiencies or bugs.
• Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and KPIs, audit findings, and savings initiatives to management.
• Ensure adherence to financial controls and compliance regulations related to freight payments.
• Participate in special projects related to freight optimization, carrier management, and financial process improvements.
• Support accruals process, forecasting, and budget tracking related to transportation spend.
