Job summary

Mancan is seeking a Freight Coordinator for a Medina, Ohio manufacturer. This 1st shift role runs 6:00am to 2:00pm, with a pay rate of $18-$20 per hour.

You will coordinate transportation and logistics, working with internal teams and external carriers to ensure on-time shipments while controlling costs. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in logistics, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and transportation management software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in transportation and logistics.
• Proficiency in transportation management software.
• Ability to pass drug test and background check.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and manage transportation strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Manage daily transportation operations, including route planning, carrier selection, and freight consolidation.
• Ensure all shipments are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Monitor shipment progress and communicate any issues or delays to internal teams and customers.
• Analyze transportation data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
• Work closely with internal teams, including sales, purchasing, and production, to ensure seamless coordination of logistics.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and logistics providers.

Mancan is looking for Freight Coordinator for a Local Medina manufactuing company.

This is a 1st Shift 6:00am 2:00pm pay rate $18 -$20/hr.

The Freight Coordinator is responsible for coordinating transportation and logistics for a company's products. They work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure that shipments are delivered on time, while maintaining cost-effectiveness and quality standards.

Work experience requirements
