Job summary

Cargolux is seeking a candidate for freight acceptance and ground operations coordination in Houston. You will ensure operations comply with the Ground Operations Manual and safety regulations, reporting incidents as required.

The role requires performance in a regulated environment, willingness to travel domestically and internationally, and the ability to coordinate with the Official-in-Charge during emergencies.

Qualifications

• Regulatory and compliance experience is required.
• Strong supervisory experience is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities are required.
• Strong analytical skills with numerical data and policy application.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office is preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for training and coverage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the correct execution of tasks concerning freight acceptance and handling.
• Ensure flight and ground operations are performed in accordance with the Ground Operations Manual.
• Comply with all local and international rules related to Safety and Security, including reporting DG incidents to the Authority as required.
• Coordinate all activities as outlined in the emergency manual Chapter 11 Station Nearest Accident, under the Official-in-Charge.
