Job summary

ACERTUS is seeking a Claims Specialist in Overland Park, KS to review, investigate, and process claims in accordance with company policy. You will liaise with customers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve claims efficiently and accurately.

The role requires 1–2 years of claims experience, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office. Salary is $22–$24 per hour, with a Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years claims resolution experience preferred.
• Experience in transportation or automotive industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and process claims accurately according to policy.
• Assist customers with lost, missing, and damaged freight claims.
• Communicate with carriers, insurers, customers to investigate and resolve claims.
• Manage claims portals, submissions, updates, and monthly reporting.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and carriers on inquiries and resolutions.
• Coordinate with third‑party claims management providers as needed.
• Respond to calls, emails, and Zendesk inquiries related to claims.
• Analyze weekly claims data to identify trends.
