ACERTUS in Overland Park, KS seeks a Claims Support specialist to collect and analyze documentation, support timely claim resolution, and assist customers with lost, missing, and damaged freight claims.

You will coordinate with carriers, insurers, customers, and internal teams, manage claims portals, respond to inquiries via Zendesk, and prepare weekly data reports while adapting to evolving processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of claims resolution experience.
• Preferred: background in transportation or automotive industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze documentation to support claim resolution.
• Assist customers with lost, missing, and damaged freight claims.
• Communicate with carriers, insurers, customers, and others to investigate claims.
• Manage claims portals including submissions, updates, and monthly reporting.
• Liaise between customers, Sales, Customer Service, and carriers on inquiries.
• Coordinate with third‑party claims providers as needed.
• Respond to calls, emails, and Zendesk inquiries related to claims.
• Identify trends and analyze weekly claims data.
• Adapt to process and system changes while maintaining productivity and service levels.
