Audit freight bills for accuracy, capture variances, and feed transit and reliability data back into planning to improve future mode choices as volume scales.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in freight, transportation, or logistics coordination.
• Quoted and booked freight and worked carriers or brokers to move loads.
• Ability to weigh cost against transit and reliability to make a call.
• Audits freight invoices and catches accessorial and overcharge errors.
• Comfort with TMS, carrier portals, and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Freight quoting & mode selection: run bid cycles and quote lanes across LTL, FTL, and carrier options; recommend cheapest reliable mode.
• Tendering & carrier management: tender loads to carrier and maintain capacity and service levels.
• Freight audit & feedback: audit freight bills against quotes and awarded loads; feed mode performance back to improve decisions.
