You will negotiate rates to optimize profitability while ensuring top-tier service and DOT compliance, handling dry vans, reefers, flatbeds, and air-freight as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of verifiable brokerage experience.
• Familiarity with dry vans, reefers, flatbeds and other equipment.
• Strong negotiation skills to secure reliable carriers.
• Knowledge of truckload, LTL, and Load-to-Ride rates.
• Ability to manage carrier relationships and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers to facilitate freight movement.
• Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and oversee logistics operations.
• Identify client needs and provide tailored solutions to drive customer satisfaction.
• Conduct inside sales efforts to expand the customer base and grow revenue.
• Negotiate rates with carriers to optimize profitability while maintaining quality service.
• Monitor shipment progress, address issues, and provide timely updates to clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, including DOT regulations as applicable.
• Handle different types of freight for dry vans, reefers, flatbeds and air-freight carriers.
