About the Role - Must be willing to work as a 1099 agent, with a split up-to 70/30. As a Freight Broker, you will be responsible for managing freight movements, collaborating with trucking companies, supporting carrier teams, tracking shipments, providing customer updates, and resolving any issues that arise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow new and existing business opportunities using the full range of services offered.
• Negotiate pricing effectively to build sustainable and profitable relationships with customers and carriers.
• Ensure the most efficient and safe transportation solutions for customers.
• Increase revenue and enhance profitability by identifying and executing opportunities for improvement.
• Proactively identify potential service disruptions and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Customer Service regarding Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) and availability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in transportation or logistics is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude, with a strong desire to learn and grow in the industry.

Compensation - This position offers an aggressive commission only structure up to 70/30 split which is uncapped and designed to reward autonomous, competent brokers.
