Job summary

Rosewoods Transportation Inc, a freight brokerage with offices in Surprise, AZ, seeks an entry-level Freight Broker Trainee. You will assist across the business, from tracking loads to hiring carriers and handling daily paperwork.

This is on-the-job training to learn the ins and outs of the industry by immersion into our processes and operations. You will be trained hands-on and, once ready, thrive as a freight broker in the assigned territory.

Rosewoods Transportation Inc is a freight brokerage company with offices in Surprise, AZ & Washougal, WA. The responsibilities of a freight broker include acting as an intermediary to connect shippers and receivers to carriers, negotiating fair shipping rates, coordinating the logistics of pickups and deliveries, handling necessary paperwork and documentation, tracking shipments to ensure timely arrival, and resolving any issues or problems that arise during the transportation process.

Role Description - Entry Level Position/Freight Broker Trainee

Starting out you will be assisting in every facet of the business. From tracking loads to hiring carriers and everything in between. From day-to-day paperwork to accounting transactions.

This is going to be "on the job" training. You will learn the ins and outs of the industry by immersion into our processes and operations. The expectation is that you will be trained in a hands-on manner and once ready, you will be able to thrive as a freight broker in the specific role and/or territory assigned to you.
