Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Freight Broker role based in Dunwoody, GA. The Freight Broker will source and secure freight from shippers, negotiate rates with carriers, and coordinate the movement of loads from pickup to delivery. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing shipments, tracking loads, resolving any service issues, and maintaining accurate documentation and records. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and carriers, providing proactive updates, and ensuring all parties receive clear and timely communication. The Freight Broker will also collaborate with internal team members to optimize routes, improve margins, and support overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage to negotiate rates, arrange loads, and manage carrier and shipper relationships.
• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Account Management skills to support clients, handle inquiries, and maintain long-term partnerships.
• Candidates should possess Dispatching skills to coordinate schedules, track shipments, and respond quickly to changes or disruptions.
• Candidates should have excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Relevant experience in freight, logistics, or transportation operations is preferred, along with proficiency in basic computer applications and transportation management systems.
