Role Description

This full-time role, based in Houston, TX, near Intercontinental Airport. The Freight Broker / Freight Forwarder will coordinate and manage expedited shipments, including quoting, booking, tracking, and updating clients on shipment status from origin to destination. Responsibilities include sourcing carriers, negotiating competitive rates, arranging same day and next day air and ground expedite services, and ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are met. The role involves regular communication with customers, carriers, and internal teams to provide transparent updates, resolve issues quickly, and support time-sensitive freight needs. The individual will also work with our related truck brokerage company to facilitate dispatching of trucks from load boards like Truckstop, DAT and others.
