Job Summary

We are seeking a Freight Broker to join our team! As a Freight Broker, you will work closely with other departments and transportation partners to build lasting relationships, identify areas for supply chain improvement, and implement cost-saving measures. Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with carriers and shippers
• Resolve transportation issues efficiently
• Maintain shipment records using our TMS
• Provide regular reports to management
• Track and trace shipments, providing updates to customers
• Broker freight

Qualifications

• Experience in freight brokerage or third-party logistics
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum 3 years in customer service and sales
• Critical thinking, prioritization, and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and account management
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and logistics software (TMS, EDI, Load Boards)
• Knowledge of over-the-road trucking modes and freight types
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
