Rlglobal is seeking a Billing Specialist in Ocala, FL to audit bills of lading, manage accounts receivable and payable, and verify carrier invoices for accuracy. The role supports both asset and non-asset-based transportation and logistics partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable preferred.
• Previous logistics, transportation, domestic or international experience a plus.
• Knowledge of TL, LTL, Import/Export, Customs, accounts receivable and payable processes a plus.
• Must be proficient in data entry functions.
• Must be organized, detail-oriented and accurate.
• Must have good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Able to handle multiple tasks within specified timeframes.
• Fluent English; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verifies that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
• Performs freight bill auditing for internal and external business partners
• Clarifies any questionable invoice items, prices, or receiving signatures
• Receives and verifies carrier invoices
• Effectively researches, analyzes and resolves carrier invoice discrepancies
• Corrects errors or lists discrepancies for adjustment, including communication via phone and/or email with customers and/or carrier partners
• Works cross-functionally to resolve process and billing issues that do or may cause customer issues
