Job summary

Delmar International is seeking a motivated Customer Service Representative focused on Ocean & Air Freight to strengthen relationships with key accounts. You will serve as the main contact for customers, coordinating across sales and operations to ensure top-tier service and identify opportunities for growth.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in freight forwarding or 3PL, knowledge of ocean/air freight operations, and a proactive, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, account management, sales or operations in freight forwarding/3PL.
• Experience with ocean and air freight operations preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent asset; CIFFA certification is a plus.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for assigned customers, ensuring timely communication and high service levels.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing clients; identify opportunities to expand business.
• Coordinate with Ocean/Air Freight and Operations teams to meet customer requirements and resolve issues.
• Support business development by identifying opportunities and contacting prospective customers.
• Prepare pricing requests, coordinate quotations, and follow up on inquiries.
• Maintain accurate customer records and interactions in internal systems.
• Conduct regular customer follow-ups and account reviews to assess satisfaction and growth needs.
• Collaborate with sales and operations to support retention and growth.
• Proactively address concerns and develop effective cross-functional solutions.
• Participate in additional CRM and business development activities as needed.
