Job summary

Halperns’ Steak & Seafood is hiring for a 1st Shift Freezer Putaway role in College Park, GA. You will be responsible for accurately storing frozen products, consolidating items to optimize freezer space, and rotating stock using FIFO methods.

The role requires reliable multitasking and basic tech use with RF handheld devices. The position offers Sunday through Thursday shifts starting at 7am and a starting pay of $19 per hour.

Qualifications

• Verbal communication skills and good organizational and problem solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or in a team.
• Experience with radio frequency handheld computer devices and PIV operations.

Responsibilities

• Puts away all received frozen products.
• Consolidates like items to maximize freezer space.
• Rotates products using FIFO method.
• Cleans and counts assigned weekly aisle.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Starting Pay: $19/h r

Schedul e: Sunday - Thursday 7am until finish

Position Summary:

Responsible for accurately putting away frozen products in a timely and organized manner.

Essential Functions:

• Puts away all received frozen products.
• Consolidates like items to ensure best use of freezer space.
• Rotates products to ensure products can be shipped using the “First in First out” method.
• Cleans and counts assigned weekly aisle.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

• Must have verbal communication skills and good organizational and problem solving skills.
• Must have the ability to multitask, prioritize, and be able to work independently or within a team environment.
• Ability to use a radio frequency handheld computer.
• Ability to operate a PIV.
