Job summary

Halperns’ Steak & Seafood is seeking a 1st shift Freezer Putaway associate in College Park, GA. You will be responsible for placing away frozen products promptly, organizing items to maximize freezer space, and ensuring FIFO rotation.

The role supports a fast-paced team environment with daily routines that keep our cold chain intact. Ideal candidates will have strong verbal communication and organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and experience with RF handheld computers.

Qualifications

• Verbal communication and organizational skills required.
• Ability to multitask and to work independently or within a team.
• Experience using RF handheld computers and PIV is preferred.

Starting Pay: $19/hr

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 7am until finish

Position Summary

Responsible for accurately putting away frozen products in a timely and organized manner.

Essential Functions

• Puts away all received frozen products.
• Consolidates like items to ensure best use of freezer space.
• Rotates products to ensure products can be shipped using the “First in First out” method.
• Cleans and counts assigned weekly aisle.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Must have verbal communication skills and good organizational and problem solving skills.
• Must have the ability to multitask, prioritize, and be able to work independently or within a team environment.
• Ability to use a radio frequency handheld computer.
• Ability to operate a PIV.
