Job summary

Performance Foodservice is hiring for a warehouse position responsible for selecting cases and other items to fill customer orders from multi-level rack storage. The role uses an electric pallet jack/forklift, with emphasis on safety and timely shipment readiness.

Responsibilities include following safety procedures, meeting productivity targets, moving pallets, and preparing orders for loading while maintaining quality standards. A background check and EPJ certification eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Able to work scheduled shifts including required overtime.
• Able to lift up to 60–100 lbs depending on location.
• EPJ certification within new-hire training period.
• Able to pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and report unsafe conditions.
• Prepare supplies and perform safety checks on equipment.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location.
• Move pallets and locate products on multi-level racks.
• Transport completed orders to shipping dock and shrink-wrap as needed.
• Complete required paperwork and equipment inspections.
