Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Norfolk, VA is seeking a High Reach Forklift Operator - Freezer. You will move palletized units, place loads in high racks, and prepare items for outbound shipment in a cold storage environment.

The role uses an RF system to record materials, performs daily forklift checks, and maintains equipment. On‑the‑job training and opportunities for advancement are offered, with benefits after 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to understand instructions in the country’s official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit (-25 Celsius) in cold storage sites.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height.
• Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipment.
• Record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via RF system.
• Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting device.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Monitor battery charge, maintain and clean batteries, and charge equipment.
