Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring for a 2nd Shift Freezer Order Selector at our Taunton, MA distribution center. You will support order processing, operate in a freezer environment, and be on your feet for long shifts while lifting up to 100 pounds. Training is provided to help you start and succeed.

Starting pay is $22.95 per hour with a $1.00 second shift premium, plus a $1.19 freezer premium for freezer hours. Weekly pay, overtime, and multiple raises in the first year are included.

2nd Shift Freezer Order Selector Distribution Center

Pay: Starting at $22.95/hour (includes a $1.00 2nd shift premium)

Work Schedule 5 Day Work Week Between Sunday - Friday. Sunday - Thursday: Start time is 4pm and work until finished. Average end time is roughly between 3-4am. Friday: Start time is 2:00pm and work until finished, average end time is roughly between 8-10pm. Your days off are Saturday and another day during the week.

You’ll be on your feet for 10+ hours of work, you’ll be lifting up to 100 pounds, and you’ll be asked to work in our freezer, but there’s no experience required - we train you how to get the job done with our dedicated training team. Selecting is hard work, so we’ll pay you a starting wage that scales with production and efficiency- the better you perform, the more you earn. On average, our selectors take home 122% of their base salary!

We have frozen products - your ability to work in extremely cold or hot conditions is required while you’re here. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs comfortably and unassisted.
