Base pay range: $17.00/hr – $24.00/hr

Position Summary

Our members love shopping for fresh food at Sam’s Club. As a freezer, cooler, and deli associate, you will keep shelves stocked and maintain sanitary conditions, while providing front‑line customer service in the deli department.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high‑quality products are available for members, keep shelves clean, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates, dispose of lower‑quality items.
• Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, member‑ready area.
• Safely operate equipment and follow safety standards, including forklift spotting, hazardous material handling, and steel‑standard guidelines.
• Provide member service: acknowledge members, locate merchandise, assist purchasing decisions, resolve issues.
• Follow food handling policies, repair & sanitize equipment, monitor freezer/cooler fans, drains, doors, and report issues to management.
• Complete required audits, paperwork, logs, and documentation.
• Support merchandise presentation and sales floor maintenance per company policies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time if hired.
