Solomon Page is seeking a Freelance Technical Designer for womens sleepwear in NYC. The role is five days onsite, with hourly pay of $46 based on experience.

Responsibilities include executing the technical design process from development to final fit and communicating fittings to vendors for approvals. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Technical Design or Patternmaking and 5-7+ years of experience in technical design, with the ability to analyze garments and ensure fit quality and

We are looking for a Freelance Technical Designer womens sleepwear top Gen-Z lifestyle brand in NYC. This position operates 5 days onsite.

• Hourly pay rate $46.00 based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Individual contributor position responsible for executing the technical design process from development to final fit.
• Responsible for analyzing and evaluating garments to develop the correct fit specifications.
• Ensures that products are developed in a manner consistent with established fit quality, standards, manufacturer capabilities and cost specifications.
• Develops technical specifications and communicates fit to vendors/factories for approvals and corrections.
• Makes appropriate adjustments with factories as required to ensure integrity of design approved prototypes while monitoring quality and targeted price.
• Typically reports to Technical Services Manager.
• Typically directs Assistant or Associate Technical Designers.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Design, Patternmaking or technical design equivalent experience.
• 5-7+ years experience in technical design.
