Job summary

Solomon Page is seeking a Freelance Assistant Designer in New York, NY to support the design and development of womens and mens lifestyle collections from concept through production.

The role partners with merchandising, technical design, and production teams to deliver commercially viable products aligned with seasonal direction. Hourly pay rate is $28.00, and the position involves close collaboration with global vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in apparel design.
• Solid understanding of knitwear construction, yarns, and sampling.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong Adobe Illustrator skills (Photoshop and PLM a plus)
