Welo Data is seeking a freelance remote voice direction specialist to coach performers for audio data collection used in training conversational AI voices. You will guide delivery, adjust material on the fly, and ensure natural, efficient sessions.

Responsibilities include monitoring mic technique, pacing, and audio quality, while providing clear direction. This project offers flexible hours, remote work, and compensation at $55 per hour.

Qualifications

• Native fluency in the required language with a strong ear for natural phrasing.
• Experience directing and coaching voice or audio talent.
• Ability to give clear, actionable performance direction.
• Knowledge of basic recording/mic techniques.
• Comfort improvising and adjusting scripted material on the spot.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and rapport-building with performers.

Responsabilités

• Direct voice performers through scripted scenarios and coaching for natural delivery.
• Create scene context for performers and improvise to fill gaps while sessions flow.
• Adapt scripted material for natural phrasing and dialect authenticity.
• Monitor and correct audio quality in real time (mic technique, pacing, room noise, levels).
• Manage session pacing to meet recording targets while preserving quality.
• Foster a supportive, low-pressure environment for performers, including first-time talent.
