Job summary

Ad Astra, Inc. is actively seeking freelance, in-person interpreters to support assignments across West Georgia. We welcome interpreters fluent in English and at least one additional language, who are authorized to work in the United States and able to attend on-site engagements.

This is a contract/freelance opportunity with flexible scheduling. Rates will be discussed during the recruiting process, and a background check plus drug screening is required prior to onboarding.

Qualifications

• Full professional proficiency in English and at least one additional language.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to provide accurate, impartial, and culturally appropriate interpretation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and able to attend in-person assignments throughout West Georgia.
• Legal interpretation experience is strongly preferred.
• Candidates without legal interpretation experience must be willing to complete the required training before accepting assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person interpretation for assignments across West Georgia.
• Maintain professionalism, impartiality, and confidentiality during interpretations.
• Coordinate scheduling and travel for on-site assignments as needed.
