Ad Astra, Inc. is seeking freelance in-person interpreters for assignments across Annapolis and Odenton, Maryland.

This contract role involves on-site interpretation for government-related and other assignments, with flexible scheduling and the expectation of attending in-person events in Annapolis and Odenton. Candidates must be bilingual with English and another language, authorized to work in the US, and able to provide accurate, culturally appropriate interpretation.

We’re Hiring: Freelance In-Person Interpreters – All Languages

Ad Astra is expanding its network of qualified in-person interpreters across all languages to support interpreting assignments throughout Annapolis and Odenton, Maryland.

Qualifications

1. Full professional proficiency in English and at least one additional language
2. Authorized to work in the United States
3. Ability to provide accurate, impartial, and culturally appropriate interpretation
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Reliable and able to attend in-person assignments throughout Annapolis and Odenton
6. Legal interpretation experience is strongly preferred
7. Candidates without legal interpretation experience must be willing to complete the required training before accepting assignments
