Job summary

Verducci Event Productions in San Francisco is seeking freelance Audio Visual Technicians to join our on-call crew for upcoming events. You will set up, operate, and strike AV gear, and collaborate with producers and venue staff to deliver high-quality presentations.

This role offers flexible, project-based scheduling across corporate, live entertainment, and conference events. Prior AV experience is welcome but not required; reliable transportation and a professional appearance are essential.

Qualifications

Experience with AV equipment preferred but all experience levels welcome.
Able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
Reliable transportation and flexible event-based scheduling.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and strike audio, video, and lighting equipment for live events.
Run sound boards, projectors, LED walls, microphones, and related AV gear.
Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and calmly during live events.
Coordinate with event producers, venue staff, and other crew members on-site.
Load in and load out equipment, including lifting and transporting gear.
Follow all safety protocols for rigging, cabling, and equipment handling.
Maintain a professional, client-facing demeanor while working events.
