Job summary

Verducci Event Productions in San Francisco is seeking freelance Audio Visual Technicians to join our on-call crew for upcoming events. You will set up, operate, and strike AV gear, and collaborate with producers and venue staff to deliver high-quality presentations.

This role offers flexible, project-based scheduling across corporate, live entertainment, and conference events. Prior AV experience is welcome but not required; reliable transportation and a professional appearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with AV equipment preferred but all experience levels welcome.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and flexible event-based scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and strike audio, video, and lighting equipment for live events.
• Run sound boards, projectors, LED walls, microphones, and related AV gear.
• Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and calmly during live events.
• Coordinate with event producers, venue staff, and other crew members on-site.
• Load in and load out equipment, including lifting and transporting gear.
• Follow all safety protocols for rigging, cabling, and equipment handling.
• Maintain a professional, client-facing demeanor while working events.

About the Role
