Job summary

The Asian Art Museum of San Francisco is seeking an Audio Visual Technician (on-call/as needed) to join our AV team. You will set up, operate, and strike audio visual equipment for diverse events, provide technical assistance for performances, and coordinate online platforms like Zoom and Streamyard.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of AV experience, strong customer service, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Two years of related audiovisual experience preferred, ideally in a museum or higher education.
Experience with Zoom meetings, webinars and other platforms.

Responsibilities

Set/Operate/Strike audio visual equipment for events and programs.
Provide front-line customer service representing the museum during events.
Act as technical coordinator for Zoom, Streamyard and other online platforms.
Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of digital displays and AV equipment.
Ensure safety and proper handling of audiovisual installations.
