Solomon Page in New York is hiring an Associate Designer specializing in Men's Graphics for a leading fashion apparel company. The role focuses on seasonally designing and executing the category assortment aligned with the concept and customer aesthetic.

Responsibilities include researching trends, creating graphic concepts and boards, providing art direction, drawing graphics, organizing assets by season, and developing linesheets and color schemes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion or Graphic Design (or equivalent experience and education).
• High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• 5+ years related experience.
• Keen eye for color, trend, detail and construction.
• Able to multi task and prioritize based on business objectives.
• Working knowledge of Illustrator and Excel.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment - in-office several days a week with occasional remote work from home.

We are hiring an Associate Designer specializing in Men's Graphics for a top fashion apparel company in NYC! This role is responsible for seasonally designing and executing their respective category assortment that relates to the concept and overall aesthetic for our customers.

• Pay $34/hr
• Temp-perm

Responsibilities:

• Research and create new trends in graphic design and production techniques.
• Create graphic design concepts and board presentations for each season.
• Collaborate on seasonal rig and provide graphic direction for the assortment
• Draw and illustrate main body of graphics for all products
• Manage and provide art direction for supporting Design team members with graphic scale, concept and placement.
• Organize all graphics by season and concept
• Develop Linesheet and color scheme for each season's table and wall graphic tee program
• Perform other duties as required.
• Able to work in a hybrid environment, meaning that some work may be performed remotely but certain essential functions must be performed in-person/in-office based on the needs of the business. ? In person/in-office collaboration is required, the frequency of such in-person/in-office collaboration (e.g., portion of week, entire week) is dictated by business needs. Such collaboration includes work centralized around product development, milestone meetings, fittings, and approvals.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion or Graphic Design (or equivalent experience and education) ? Working knowledge of graphic designing software in a MAC environment.
• High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• 5+ years related experience
• Keen eye for color, trend, detail and construction
• Able to multi task and prioritize based on business objectives
• Working knowledge of Illustrator and Excel
• Ability to act as liaison between many departments; excellent communication and analytic skills. Must be detail oriented, computer literate and able to handle multiple tasks at once. ? Comfortable working in an hybrid environment - working in office several days a week (based on the needs of the business or big milestone week) with occasional remote work from home
