Qualifications

• Fluency in American Sign Language and English voicing.
• One year of experience as an ASL interpreter or recent graduate of an accredited Interpreter Training Program.
• Completion of an Interpreter Training Program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective communication facilitation between multiple parties, working to and from ASL and English.
• Understand cultural and linguistic differences between communities and respond accordingly.
• Adhere to RID Code of Professional Conduct.
