Job summary

ContextGlobal is seeking NIC Certified ASL Interpreters to support assignments across our client base in the Washington Metropolitan area. You will provide effective communication facilitation between multiple parties, working to and from ASL and English, while respecting Deaf culture.

Locations include DC, MD and Northern Virginia, with interviews and screenings conducted in ASL and spoken English; pre-employment screenings may apply.

Qualifications

• Active NIC certification required.
• Fluency in ASL and spoken English.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Completion of an Interpreter Training Program preferred.
• At least two years of ASL interpreting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective communication facilitation between ASL and English.
• Navigate cultural and linguistic differences across assignments.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.
